This EP is an experiment between what I've learned in the past several years with the synthwave and retro synth genres, and the things I learned over 25 years ago when starting out with the industrial rock genre when I was 14 years old.

It isn't exactly considered a successor to what I did with "At The Stroke Of Midnight" but it's within the realm somewhere, spiritually, like an extension.

I started this EP with the title track "Run The Test Sequence" over 2 years ago, and over the months, slowly developed ideas that might work in terms of the synth side. Many ideas did not stick, but some eventually worked themselves out.

It was only in the last 2 months leading up to the release, that more ideas developed rapidly that fit the narrative and yielded completion (Tracks 1, 3, 5-8).

The end result to me feels more like a rather short story in audio, but a part of a bigger picture still in some way.

For a 25 minute EP, my hope is you listen to it in one sitting and ride in the zone with it, as dark and hypnotic as it may be.
